Atlantic Seniors Housing Research Alliance (ASHRA) represents all of the groups involved in the research project, Projecting the Housing Needs of Aging Atlantic Canadians, a 5-year grant funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). The project is based at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Between 2005 and 2009, the research is looking at the housing needs and choices, both existing and emerging, for our aging population, then developing policy recommendations on how we can better meet these needs in the future.
